Honorary Lectures and Prizes
The conference organisers are delighted to be announce the following awards to be made at MIP2024.
Honorary lectures
- Wulff and Mosbach Lecture Prizes: The Board of the Society for Molecular Imprinting are pleased to announce the establishment of Honorary Lectures to commemorate the life, works and legacy of Professor Günter Wulff and Professor Klaus Mosbach.
The Mosbach Lecture was delivered by Professor Chris Lowe from The University of Cambridge, UK, while the Wulff lecture was delivered by Prof. Ken Shea from The University of California, Irvine.
Springer, Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry prizes
- Poster prize: The best poster prize was awarded to Yasuo Yoshimi for a contribution entitled "Imaging of Neurotransmitter Secretion in Living Brain Probed by Fluorescent Molecularly Imprinted Nanoparticles".
- Young scientist oral communication prize: The prize for the best oral communication by a young scientist, sponsored by Springer, Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, was awarded to Alice Marinangeli for her presentation entitled "Molecularly imprinted nanoprobes and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy in a nanosensing device for the detection of ultralow protein concentrations.".
Cell Press, iScience Poster Prize
- Poster prize: The Cell Press iScience prize was for the best short oral and poster was awarded to Benedikt Keitel for his contribution entitled "Tailored Macroscopic Geometries of Porous Molecularly Imprinted Polymers via LCD-Based 3D Printing".
